A fatal accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on provincial road No. 450.

A 64-year-old man was critically injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Torzeniec; he died in the hospital a few hours later.

The accident took place in the village of Torzeniec, at the intersection of provincial road No. 450 and a local municipal road, on the stretch between Doruchów and Wieruszów. Preliminary findings indicate that a 42-year-old resident of Kalisz County, riding a Kawasaki motorcycle, failed to yield the right of way. This resulted in a collision with a Barton motorcycle ridden by a 64-year-old resident of Kępno County.

The 42-year-old suffered an open fracture of his left leg and was taken to the hospital in Ostrów Wielkopolski. The condition of the other motorcyclist was critical. The 64-year-old was airlifted by the Air Ambulance Service to the hospital in Kępno. Unfortunately, after 8:00 PM, the police received notification of his death. The exact circumstances and course of the accident are currently under investigation.
