Michał Sznajder asked the US President about plans for a potential permanent US military base in Poland. Trump did not begin his answer by outlining details regarding future military actions.
“I love Poland. It has a good president, too,” Donald Trump stated in response to the TVN24 BiS journalist’s question.
The American President’s remarks also referred to Karol Nawrocki. However, the status of the plans for the base remains unchanged, as the United States has not yet made a decision regarding future troop deployments.
Trump had previously addressed the matter on Truth Social as well. At the time, he pointed to progress in the talks and directly linked it to the actions of the Polish president.
“Great news. Thanks to the decisive leadership of my friend Karol Nawrocki, the President of Poland, significant progress is being made toward establishing a US Army base in Poland. If this happens, the location will be announced very soon,” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.
However, the statement regarding progress did not signify the formal conclusion of the process. Reports indicate that the issue of a permanent base remains a subject of ongoing discussion and analysis on the American side.
